EATON COUNTY, Mich. – Four people are facing charges in connection with the death of a missing Michigan man after his remains were found last week.
Gregory Brian Pennington, 42, of Nashville, Michigan, was reported missing on Dec. 12, 2024.
The day before that, Eaton County deputies responded to the 400 block of Michigan Road after receiving a report about an abandoned car, which belonged to Pennington.
The sheriff’s office began investigating. At the time, they said foul play was suspected and that Pennington was believed to have been last seen on Nov. 14, 2024, in Chester Township.
Deputies found the missing man’s body in Chester Township on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
His death is being investigated as a homicide, and four suspects are in custody.
They have been charged, but their names are being withheld pending their arraignment, according to the sheriff’s office.
